The second chapter of Indiana Jones is also my absolute favorite of the quadrilogy because I consider it the most compelling and amusing and then I very much like the little Shorty, the new assistant of the professor, and thanks to his help situation in which he sees him clash with the gangster Lao Chao, after a negotiation failed. Willie, the beautiful woman of the gangster, taken hostage initially by Indiana but attracted only by diamonds, thanks to the knowledge of Indiana, the trio manages to leave on a small plane that they later discover belonging to Lao Chan.
During the trip, in fact, the pilots will leave the plane and Indiana will be able to save themselves, Shorty and Willie with the help of a dinghy and a fortune and courage. The trio is welcomed by a local tribe who will ask the professor for help to take the kidnapped and exploited children back to the village from the evil Mola Ram and also return the sacred stone, whose theft has reduced all the inhabitants to poverty and disgrace.
He went to the palace of Pankot and after meeting the young maharaja, staying in their rooms in the evening, after being attacked by an adept, three discover a secret passage that will lead them through the difficulty traps and finally to the Cursed Temple where the sorcerer Mola Ram performs human sacrifices.
Indiana Jones, taking advantage of an apparent calm afterwards, succeeds in taking possession of the stones but, listening to the life of the children of the village, he resists his slave, makes mistakes, and makes him a prisoner of the evil sorcerer, but from which he somehow manages to free himself and with the help of Shorty and Willie will be able to free the children. While returning to the village, the professor remains to deal with the evil Mola Ram once again on an unsafe wooden bridge.
At the end of the battle, however, Indiana has the best, even managing to steal the sacred stone of the village, while a bad fate will be the sorcerer's. The stone and the children will finally be delivered to the village.
I love when in the end the soundtrack of the film accompanies the trio and the children to the village. The film lives up to the expectations of Indiana Jones and the raiders of the Lost Ark, and the immortal Harrison Ford as the most fascinating and adventurous archaeologist that history has ever known. Absolutely exceptional photography to the discovery of enchanted natural and wonderful scenographic places like the maharaja's dining room, full of details.

Il secondo capitolo di Indiana Jones è anche il mio preferito in assoluto della quadrilogia perchè lo reputo il più avvincente e divertente e poi mi è molto simpatico il piccolo Shorty, il nuovo aiutante del professore, e grazie al suo aiuto riesce a fuggire da una brutta situazione in cui lo vede scontrarsi con il gangster Lao Chao, dopo una trattativa non andata a buon fine. Alla fuga si unisce anche Willie, la bella donna del gangster, presa in ostaggio inizialmente da Indiana ma attratta solo dai diamanti e, grazie alle conoscenze di Indiana, il trio riesce a partire su un piccolo aereo che in seguito scopriranno appartenere a Lao Chan.
Durante il viaggio infatti i piloti abbandoneranno l'aereo ed Indiana riuscirà a mettere in salvo sè stesso, Shorty e Willie con l'aiuto di un canotto e di tanta fortuna e coraggio. Il trio è accolto da una tribù locale il quale chiederà aiuto al professore affinchè riporti al villaggio i bambini rapiti e sfruttati dal malvagio Mola Ram e restituisca anche la pietra sacra, il cui furto ha ridotto in estrema povertà e disgrazia tutti gli abitanti.
Recatosi al palazzo di Pankot e dopo aver conosciuto il giovane maharaja, alloggiando la sera nelle loro stanze, dopo essere stati assaliti da un adepto, i tre scoprono un passaggio segreto che li condurrà attraverso pericolose trappole ed infine al Tempio Maledetto dove lo stregone Mola Ram svolge sacrifici umani.
Indiana Jones approfittando in seguito di una calma apparente riesce ad impossessarsi delle pietre ma, ascoltando le grida dei bambini del villaggio resi schiavi, commette degli errori lo renderanno prigioniero del malvagio stregone ma dal quale riuscirà in qualche modo a liberarsi e con l'aiuto di Shorty e Willie riusciranno a liberare i bambini. Durante il rientro al villaggio, il professore dovrà vedersela ancora una volta con il malvagio Mola Ram su un ponte di legno poco sicuro.
Al termine dello scontro però Indiana ha la meglio, riuscendo anche a sottrarre la pietra sacra del villaggio, mentre una brutta sorte toccherà allo stregone. La pietra ed i bambini saranno finalmente consegnato al villaggio.
Adoro quando alla fine la colonna sonora del film accompagna il trio ed i bambini al villaggio. Il film è all'altezza delle aspettative di Indiana Jones ed i predatori dell'Arca Perduta, ed immortala Harrison Ford come l'archeologo più affascinante e avventuriero che la storia abbia mai conosciuto. Fotografia assolutamente eccezionale alla scoperta di luoghi naturali incantati e scenografie meravigliose come la sala da pranzo del maharaja, ricca di dettagli.
