Molti amici mi chiedono che alimenti do al mio criceto che è così in forma e spesso mi chiedono se i criceti possono mangiare il formaggio??
Il formaggio rappresenta una vera delizia per i criceti e infatti si possono mangiarlo perchè i criceti come altri roditori ad esempio i topi amano mangiare il formaggio, Il problema che può emergere è che non sappiamo la quantità esatta di tolleranza da parte del criceto.
Ma che tipo di prodotto scegliere per evitare di creare problemi intestinali o di altro genere?? il nostro animale domestico prima di capire se il formaggio porta benefici o mette a rischio la salute dei nostri piccoli, e cosa chiederesti come è composto e quali sostanze nutritive contiene questo alimento, se vogliamo fare assaggiare un pezzo di formaggio al nostro criceto dobbiamo conservarlo bene ecco perchè è consigliato tenerlo in frigo per evitare la formazione di batteri e che trattandosi di un prodotto particolarmente grasso dargliene in quantità elevate sicuramente gli farebbe di certo un danno alla sua salute.
Come per altri cibi darne un po non gli farà alcun male ma non deve diventare un alimento principale nella sua dieta questo infatti potrebbe causare obesità nel criceto!!ma se il criceto avesse qualche tipo di intolleranza??
semplice se questo piccolo animale domestico non mostra alcun sintomo di malessere bisogna prima effettuare il periodo di prova che dovrebbe durare all'incirca una settimana durante il quale bisogna tenere sotto controllo il nostro amico, se nel corso di questi giorni non succede nulla di allarmante ,allora possiamo tranquillamente dare qualche pezzettino di formaggio nella sua dieta.
Per capire se il formaggio è di suo gradimento basta allungare il pezzo nella gabbietta è molto probabile che lo prenderà subito di mano ma è meglio dunque non esagerare fermarsi se notiamo che il piccolo lo mangia solo per ingordigia e non per altro tipo il rischio infatti che posso appesantirsi e dopo sentirsi sazio da star male, non sono esclusi episodi di mal di pancia nel criceto perchè Infatti i grassi di questo alimento potrebbero avere conseguenze non solo nell'immediato ma anche dopo un po di tempo.
Sconsiglio vivamente di dare tipologie di formaggio piccante con troppi aromi, al peperoncino perchè sicuramente possono irritare lo stomaco del nostro piccolo, il criceto ha un poco di difficoltà nel processo digestivo del formaggio quindi se è a massa grassa può impiegarci parecchio tempo a digerirlo, generalmente i criceti lo adorano ma attenzione a non esagerare con le quantità!!
Quello a pasta molle o a consistenza morbida ha per lui delle difficoltà nella deglutizione e può causare il soffocamento del criceto per cui evitate le creme o formaggi morbidissimi e filanti come la mozzarella possono essere molto pericolosi per il rischio di soffocamento.
