Hello everyone and welcome to appointment number 20. I must admit that it is incredible to think that in this period I have created 20 illustrations dedicated to @splinterlands. Besides being a very fun experience, drawing characters is a great workout that I always enjoy a lot. The character that I have decided to illustrate today is Sporcerer, this character with the appearance of a mushroom seemed to me a hermit, a sort of magician. In the version I made, I wanted to give him a more human body, as well as adding muscles I enjoyed creating a luminous tattoo that covers a part of his body. Below I show you my finished illustration and the original drawing that inspired me.

As always I want to tell you how I made this new drawing, the first fundamental step is always to create a quick drawing that helps me put all the ideas on paper. Made this step to the realization of the final project, going to trace all those lines that will create the final work. Once the final design is completed, I dedicate myself to the coloring phase, this phase is divided into two parts, the first takes place by coloring the design with spot colors, the second concerns the addition of lights and shadows. In this specific case I also worked a lot on the effects of the various surfaces that make up the design, in fact the skin recalls a texture very similar to the crocodile skin, while the mushroom has a different texture. I also wanted to create a light effect behind the subject, as if there was energy being released from his body. Making these additions, in my opinion, gives the final result a greater value. Below I show you the details of the various stages of the creative process.

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti all'appuntamento numero 20. Devo ammettere che è incredibile pensare che in questo periodo ho realizzato 20 illustrazioni dedicate al @splinterlands . Oltre ad essere un'esperienza molto divertente, disegnare personaggi è un grande allenamento che faccio sempre molto volentieri. Il personaggio che ho deciso di illustrare oggi è Sporcerer, questo personaggio dalle sembianza di un fungo mi è sembrato un eremita, una sorta di mago. Nella versione realizzata da me ho voluto conferirgli un corpo più umano, oltre ad aver aggiunto qualche muscolo mi sono divertito a creargli un tatuaggio luminoso che ricopre una parte del suo corpo. Qui di seguito vi mostro la mia illustrazione finita e il disegno originale a cui mi sono ispirato.

Come sempre voglio raccontarvi di come ho realizzato questo nuovo disegno, il primo fondamentale passaggio è sempre quello di realizzare un veloce disegno che mi aiuti a mettere sulla carta tutte le idee. Fatto questo passo alla realizzazione del disegno definitivo, andando a tracciare tutte quelle linee che creeranno l'opera finale. Una volta ultimato il disegno definitivo mi dedico alla fase di colorazione, questa fase è suddivisa in due parti, la prima avviene colorando il disegno con tinte piatte, la seconda riguarda l'aggiunta di luci ed ombre. In questo caso specifico ho lavorato molto anche su gli effetti delle vari superfici che compongono il disegno, infatti la pelle richiama una texture molto simile alla pelle del coccodrillo, mentre il fungo ha una texture differente. Ho voluto anche creare un effetto luminoso alle spalle del soggetto, come se ci fosse dell'energia sprigionata da suo corpo. Fare queste aggiunte, secondo me, regala al risultato finale un valore maggiore. Qui di seguito vi mostro ne dettaglio le varie fasi del processo creativo.
