Hello everyone, welcome back to this fourth appointment where I intend to redesign the characters of @Splinterlands with my own style. This time I wanted to redesign the Pirate Captain in my own way. This time, unlike the previous drawings, I wanted to make some more changes to the character, in fact I slightly changed the clothing and some details. However, I wanted to stay very faithful to the original design. You can see the finished drawing below.

In my version I preferred to make a taller and less stocky character than the original, I took off the shirt and added some tattoos, this to make it more aggressive. During the making of the illustration I wanted to give the character a very dynamic pose, in fact I chose to illustrate him while he performs the action of the jump, in fact I imagined him in the middle of a battle. Before seeing the various stages of the drawing I want to compare my version with the original one, you can see it below.

Now I will show you the various steps that led to the final result. After having carefully observed the original subject, I made a rough sketch of a motorcycle that you can see below.

Once the sketch was made, I took out all the unnecessary stuff and drew the character cleanly.

At this point I moved on to coloring, I wanted to keep all the colors of the original design. First I colored the whole illustration with spot colors.

At this point I added lights and shadows to give thickness to the image. I will never stop amazed at how much a drawing changes after adding the highlights and shadows. Below you can see the various stages of coloring.

Ciao a tutti, bentrovati, in questo quarto appuntamento dove vado a ridisegnare i personaggi di @Splinterlands con il mio stile . Quasta volta ho voluto ridisegnare a modo mio Pirate Captain. Questa volta differentemente dai disegni precedenti, ho voluto realizzare qualche modifica in più al personaggio, infatti ho leggermente cambiato l'abbigliamento e qualche particolare. Ho voluto comunque mantenermi molto fedele al disegno originale. Qui di seguito puoi vedere il disegno finito.

Nella mia versione ho preferito realizzare un personaggio più alto e meno tozzo dell'originale, ho eliminato la camicia e ho aggiunto dei tatuaggi, questo per renderlo più aggressivo. Durante la realizzazione dell'illustrazione ho voluto dare al personaggio una posa molto dinamica, infatti ho scelto di illustrarlo mentre compie l'azione di saltare, infatti lo ho immaginato in mezzo ad una battaglia. Prima di vedere le varie fasi di realizzazione del disegno voglio mettere a confronto la mia versione con quella originale, puoi vederla qua sotto.

Ora vi mostrerò le varie fasi che hanno portato al risultato finale. Dopo aver osservato attentamente il soggetto originale ho creato uno schizzo moto grezzo che puoi vedere qui di seguito.

Una volta realizzato lo schizzo, ho eliminato tutte le cose non necessarie e ho disegnato il personaggio in modo pulito.

A questo punto sono passato alla colorazione, ho voluto mantenere tutti i colori del disegno originale. Come prima cosa ho colorato tutta l'illustrazione con tinte piatte.

A questo punto ho aggiunto luci ed ombre per dare spessore all'immagine. Non smetterò mai di rimanere stupito di quanto un disegno cambi dopo l'aggiunta delle luci e delle ombre. Qui di seguito puoi vedere le varie fasi della colorazione.
