I wanted to make a Halloween themed animation, nothing challenging, some animation as an exercise. First I searched the web for zombie images to get inspired, I wanted something funny, I didn't want to do something too horror. Once I saw some images I drew the main subject in vector, a kind of Frankenstein monster, drawing it I took into account to keep the various elements separate, head arms and body, in doing so in the animation phase I could animate them separately.
Above the drawing in the vector path, as a drawing style I wanted to use a style with very sharp and clean lines. Once I finished the drawing I colored everything with spot colors, as you can see in the following image.
Finally, before moving on to Photoshop, I separated the various parts of the image, so that we have all the elements separate, head, arms and body. After this step I exported all the layers to photoshop where I enriched the drawing with a background, cobwebs and the word Halloween in the foreground. For the writing I decided to use an acid green color, almost fluorescent, this color in my opinion goes very well with the purple of the background.

As a final step, I animated each part of the body independently. obviously it's an animation It would be nice to animate the bats in the background as well and add some spider on the web, it's been a long time since I did this kind of animations, so I preferred to proceed in small steps. Avevo voglia di realizzare un'animazione a tema Halloween, nulla di impegnativo, una piccola animazione come esercizio. Come prima cosa ho cercato sul web delle immagini di zombi per ispirarmi, volevo qualche cosa di divertente, non volevo fare una cosa troppo horror. Una volta viste un pò di immagini ho disegnato in vettoriale il soggetto principale, una spece di mostro di Frankenstein, disegnandolo ho tenuto conto di tenere separati i vari elementi, testa braccia e corpo, così facendo, in fase di animazione li avrei potuti animare separatamente.
Qui sopra il disegno in tracciato vettoriale, come stile di disegno ho voluto utilizzare uno stile con line molto nette e pulite. Una volta terminato il disegno ho colorato il tutto con tinte piatte, come si vede nell'immagine seguente.
Come ultima cosa prima di spostarmi a lavorare su Photoshop, ho separato le varie parti dell'immagine, così da avere tutti gli elementi separati, testa, braccia e corpo. Fatto questo passaggio ho esportato tutti i livelli su photoshop dove ho arricchito il disegno con uno sfondo, delle ragnatele e la scritta Halloween in primo piano. Per la scritta ho deciso di utilizzare un colore verde acido, quasi fluo, secondo me questo colore si sposa molto bene con il viola dello sfondo.
Come ultimo passaggio ho animato ogni parte del corpo in maniera autonoma. ovviamente è un'animazione molto basica, ma per una gif mi sembra un buon risultato. Sarebbe stato bello animare anche i pipistrelli sullo sfondo e aggiungere qualche ragno sulla ragnatela, è molto che non realizzavo questo tipo di animazioni, quindi ho preferito procedere per piccoli passaggi.
