3D Sculpture (ENG/ITA)

Illustration created by Astrocreator

Hello everyone, I have always been very fascinated by 3D graphics, in fact over the years I have learned to use very interesting programs that allow you to create everything in 3D. There is a portion of 3D programs dedicated to sculpture, they have always attracted me a lot but I have never really deepened the subject, only small tests every now and then. Now I have decided that I want to learn how to sculpt in 3D and then I started experimenting, I decided to start using a very interesting program on Ipad, which looks really well done, in fact it allows you to access many different functions. In this first exercise I wanted to create a face starting from a sphere. I admit that at first it was a bit tricky to understand the function of some tools and find others, but trying and trying again I managed to get what I had imagined. Obviously the result is far from perfect, there are many imperfections and defects, and certainly also some basic errors, but the final result seems to me more than enough. Below I show you some steps of the sculpting process.

I find it very interesting to see the material transform and shape itself as if it were a real material, for example plasticine, the material reacts perfectly to the tools and can be modeled very easily. The interface is quite intuitive but I admit that you have to experiment a lot to understand many things, and immediately find the tool you need for that particular operation. Finally it is possible to color the work directly with the same program and this helps a lot to have a clearer idea of what you are doing. I will definitely do many more experiments and tests with this program because it has a lot of potential and I find it a lot of fun to use.
I hope you like this new job, as always I invite you to let me know what you think below in the comments.
