The door of the village - watercolor on paper
Hello everyone dear Hivers and welcome back to my blog. Yesterday I took a trip to Lucignano, an ancient village in Tuscany, in the province of Arezzo. The entrance to this small medieval town is characterized by a large arched door with a very large stone coat of arms.
The façade of the wall is also very beautiful, made with local stones of ocher or Sienna color.
How could I not portray this magnificent door?
So I settled down with my table and took a large sheet of paper and started the watercolor.
This is the intermediate step, without the painted shadows yet.
Here I am in front of the door with the painting done, I hope you like my painting, I send you a hug from Lucignano.

La porta del borgo - acquarello su carta
Ciao a tutti cari Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog. Ieri ho fatto una gita a Lucignano, un borgo antico della Toscana, in provincia di Arezzo. L'ingresso di questo piccolo paese medievale è caratterizzato da una grande porta ad arco con uno stemma im pietra molto grande.
Anche la facciata della parete è molto bella, realizzata con pietre del territorio di colore ocra o terra di Siena.
Come non potevo ritrarre questa magnifica porta?
Così mi sono sistemato con il mio tavolo e ho preso un foglio di carta di grande formato ed ho iniziato l'acquarello. Questo è il passaggio intermedio, senza ancora le ombre dipinte.
Eccomi davanti alla porta con il dipinto realizzato, spero che il mio dipinto vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio da Lucignano.
