Ponza Island
Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I share a watercolor that I made on the island of Ponza, the largest of the Pontine islands.
An island much appreciated by Italian and foreign tourists for the beauty of the waters, the luxuriant Mediterranean scrub and the characteristic alleys of the town.
Ancient Roman arches carved into the rock
Through a large tunnel dug into the tuff built by the Romans under the Emperor Augustus, we arrive at a very beautiful beach where I made my watercolor.
As often happens to me, I had to paint in an awkward position, sitting on the pebbles of the beach.
We watercolor painters have the ability to balance because it can happen to paint standing up with the album in hand. However, the result seems to have arrived the same and I leave you some steps of the realization.

Isola di Ponza
Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un acquarello che ho realizzato sull'isola di Ponza la più grande delle isole Ponziane. Un isola molto apprezzata dai turisti italiani e stranieri per la bellezza delle acque, per la rigoliosa macchia mediterranea e per i caratteristici vicoli del paese.
Attraverso una grande galleria scavata nel tufo costruita dai romani sotto l'imperatore Augusto, si arriva in una spiaggia molto bella nella quale ho realizzato il mio acquarello.
Come mi capita spesso ho dovuto dipingere in posizione scomoda, seduto sui ciottoli della spiaggia.
Noi acquarellisti abbiamo capacità da equilibristi perchè può accadere di dipingere anche in piedi con l'album in mano. Comunque il risultato sembra essere arrivato lo stesso e vi lascio alcuni steps della realizzazione.
