Nature celebrates around the ruins.

Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I share my latest watercolor which deals with a theme that I love very much: abandoned ruins and nature as a whole. As you can see, I painted some ancient remains of an abbey in the middle of a nature that takes back its space.

Grass and wild plants enjoy growing undisturbed, just as vines cling to time-worn bricks.

All around the trees seem to celebrate at the sight of the dilapidated remains of the abbey, a riot of lights and colors that offer hymns of joy to nature.

I tried to create very evident chromatic contrasts with the yellow ocher and reds of the bricks and the various shades of green of nature.

You have the result in front of your eyes, and I am very pleased with this large-format watercolor that has gone into a private collection.

La natura festeggia intorno ai ruderi.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio ultimo acquarello che tratta un tema che amo molto: i ruderi abbandonati e la natura nel loro insieme.

Come potete osservare ho dipinto degli antichi resti di un abbazia nel mezzo di una natura che si riprende il suo spazio.
L'erba e le piante selvatiche si divertono a crescere indisturbate, così come i rampicanti si aggrappano ai mattoni ormai consumati dal tempo.

Tutto intorno gli alberi sembrano fare festa alla vista dei resti fatiscenti dell'abbazia, un tripudio di luci e di colori che offrono inni di gioia alla natura. Ho cercato di creare dei contrasti cromatici molto evidenti con i gialli ocra e rossi dei mattoni e le varie tonalità di verde della natura.

Il risultato lo avete davanti agli occhi, ed io sono molto soddisfatto di questo acquarello di grande formato che è andato in una collezione privata.
