Warming Up the Engines
August's penultimate Brawl completed and we're already starting to see some improvement, as the EDSF Guild manages to take back fifth place, back to occupying exactly the middle of the leaderboard.
When joining this time I took a big risk, because I was on vacation last week and, once there, I discovered that I had no signal anywhere... I even tried to play a game when I had some connection, but my smartphone was getting so little signal that the Splinterlands site couldn't load the game interface properly, so I lost the game by forfeit.
I was about to give up all hope when, as I reached the top of a mountain at the end of a several-hour hike, my phone finally managed to hook up to the network and, seizing the opportunity to take a well-deserved break, I was able to complete the remaining brawl matches!
Thanks to the fifth place we get 1,013 merits points and 11.923 staked SPS.

Brawl match by IlPobre - thanks to Mylor Crowling @ilpobre gets a clean and quick victory that, added to the others, allows him to get the first position in the internal ranking of the Guild.
Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - taking advantage of the Dragon Element I can deploy powerful creatures of both that Element and the Water one, including a couple of creatures with deadly ranged attacks, with which I can completely annihilate the enemy's defenses.
Brawl match by Road2Horizon - the two players adapt differently to the wands out ruleset, choosing @road2horizon a more offensive approach, while his opponent a more passive and defensive one. It is interesting, therefore, to observe how the same ruleset can be approached in completely different ways, showing the diversity that Splinterlands can offer.
September is getting closer and closer, so it is time to warm up our engines and get ready to get back into the fight to the best of our ability.

Scaldiamo i Motori
Penultima Brawl di Agosto terminata e già si comincia a vedere qualche miglioramento, con la Gilda EDSF che riesce a riprendersi il quinto posto, tornando ad occupare esattamente la metà della classifica.
Nel partecipare stavolta mi sono preso un bel rischio, perchè la scorsa settimana ero in vacanza in montagna e, una volta lì, ho scoperto di non avere campo da nessuna parte... ho anche provato a fare una partita in un momento in cui avevo un filo di connessione, ma lo smartphone mi prendeva così poco che il sito di Splinterlands non è riuscito a caricare bene l'interfaccia di gioco, per cui ho perso a tavolino la partita.
Stavo per perdere le speranze quando, arrivato in cima ad un monte al termine di una camminata di svariate ore, finalmente il mio telefono è riuscito ad agganciarsi alla rete e, approfittandone per fare una meritata pausa, sono riuscito a portare a termine le restanti partite della brawl!
Grazie al quinto posto otteniamo 1.013 punti di merits e 11,923 SPS in stake.

Partita brawl di IlPobre - grazie a Mylor Crowling @ilpobre ottiene una vittoria pulita e rapida che, aggiunta alle altre, gli consente di ottenere la prima posizione nella classifica interna della Gilda.
Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - sfruttando l'Elemento Drago posso schierare potenti creature sia di questo Elemento che di quello Acqua, comprese un paio di creature dai micidiali attacchi a distanza, con cui annientare completamente le difese nemiche.
Partita brawl di Road2Horizon - i due giocatori si adattano in maniera differente al ruleset wands out, scegliendo @road2horizon un approccio più offensivo, mentre il suo avversario uno maggiormente passivo e difensivo. E' interessante perciò osservare come uno stesso ruleset possa essere affrontato in modi completamente diversi, a riprova della varietà che Splinterlands è capace di offrire.
Settembre si avvicina sempre più ed è quindi tempo di riscaldare i motori e prepararsi a riprendere a combattere al massimo delle nostre possibilità.
