Keeping the Pace
There are times when before you can climb up the rankings you have to be patient and just keep up the pace, without missing a beat, but waiting for the right opportunity to strike.
It seems that right now, to a certain extent, this is what we are doing: we are firmly settled around the middle of the leaderboard and we don't look like we are going to fall off it so easily.
While this may preclude us getting the top spots, it also prevents us from getting the bottom ones, so it's actually pretty good for our morale, since every brawl brings us some good rewards and doesn't make us feel like we're the last in the class...which is no small feat!
For climbing to the top there will always be time, and while it's also a little sad that we haven't seen a podium for several months by now, at the same time we also need to appreciate what we have, especially when we've seen much worse times.
As the fighting ceased, the EDSF Guild concluded in fifth place, and was rewarded with 1300 merits points and 13.835 staked SPS for every player.

Brawl match by Road2Horizon - @road2horizon scores a great number of victories, contributing greatly to the final placement of the EDSF Guild: in this match, especially, he optimally utilizes Cursed Windeku and his thorns ability, turning enemy attacks back on the opponents' own creatures.
Brawl match by Libertycrypto27 - A perfect game played by @libertycrypto27, who perfectly balances his offensive and support creatures, managing to suffer very few losses and preserve all his core cards until the end of the match, partly because of the crucial work done by Fina Voxom.
Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - sometimes on Splinterlands the winning strategy isn't to do more damage than the opponent, but to succeed in surviving longer than him: and that's exactly what happened in this game, in which I managed to win by focusing completely only on the survivability of one of my creatures while letting the earthquake ruleset do the dirty work.
Another quiet week, with no particular surprises, neither positive nor negative.

Mantenere il Ritmo
Alle volte prima di riuscire a scalare posizioni in classifica occorre armarsi di pazienza e, semplicemente, mantenere il ritmo, senza perdere colpi, ma aspettando l'occasione giusta per colpire.
Sembra che in questo momento, in un certo senso, questo sia quello che stiamo facendo: ci siamo saldamente assestati intorno alla metà classifica e non sembriamo intenzionati a staccarcene tanto facilemte.
Questo, se da un lato ci preclude le prime posizioni, dall'altro ci evita anche le ultime, per cui in realtà la cosa è piuttosto positiva per il morale, dato che ogni brawl ci porta ad ottenere delle buone ricompense e non ci fa sentire gli ultimi della classe... che non è poco!
Per scalare la vetta ci sarà sempre tempo e, se anche un po' dispiace non vedere un podio ormai da diversi mesi, al contempo bisogna anche saper apprezzare quel che si ha, soprattutto quando si sono visti momenti decisamente peggiori.
Al cessare dei combattimenti, la Gilda EDSF conclude quindi in quinta posizione, venendo ricompensata con 1300 punti di merits e 13,835 SPS in stake.

Partita brawl di Road2Horizon - @road2horizon conquista numerose vittorie, contribuendo in modo importante al posizionamento finale della Gilda EDSF: in questo match, in particolare, sfrutta in maniera ottimale Cursed Windeku e la sua abilità thorns, ritorcendo gli attacchi nemici contro le stesse creature avversarie.
Partita brawl di Libertycrypto27 - partita perfetta quella disputata da @libertycrypto27, che bilancia in modo impeccabile le proprie creature offensive e quelle di supporto, riuscendo a subire pochissime perdite e conservare tutte le proprie creature chiave fino alla fine, anche grazie al lavoro decisivo svolto da Fina Voxom.
Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - talvolta su Splinterlands la strategia vincente non è fare più danni dell'avversario, ma riuscire a sopravvivere più a lungo di lui: ed è proprio quello che è successo in questa partita, dove sono riuscito a vincere focalizzandomi completamente solo sulla sopravvivenza di una mia creatura e lasciando fare il lavoro sporco al ruleset earthquake.
Un'altra settimana tranquilla, senza particolari sorprese, nè positivo, ma neanche in negativo.
