A Step Backward, but Ready to Rise Up
Although I had to navigate my way through a thousand perils, renting on the spot the cards I needed to deal with every single brawl match (due to a bug on NFTy Arcade, in fact, this season I didn't receive any cards in delegation...), in the end I still managed to bring home a good performance that, together with that of my Guild mates, got us a sixth place without infamy and without praise.
This is certainly a lower result than the previous week's (third place tied with the runners-up), but still absolutely respectable.
Of course, the goal is to improve and not to go backwards, but experience teaches us that on Splinterlands it is very easy to get mixed results and to go, as you might say, "from the stars to the stables": so if this time the step backwards was limited to a sixth place and we are going back up from there, we certainly couldn't complain.
With sixth place the rewards drop, but playing in Tier 2 still makes its impact: 1100 merits points and 14.624 SPS in stakes are the rewards awaiting every player!

Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - thanks to one of the new Soulbound Summoners I can simultaneously deploy two Gladius creatures on the field: Quora Towershead and Katrelba Gobson. Things actually don't go exactly as I expected, with Katrelba Gobson being eliminated as early as turn one of the game, but the overall quality of my line-up and its healing abilities are enough to put my opponent in trouble and, eventually, to force him to concede the match.
Brawl match by Road2horizon - @road2horizon's line-up is perfect and relentless: his magic attacks completely pierce the enemy defenses, making all abilities given by the opposing Summoner useless and annihilating the enemy forces in no time. Another great performance by a player very often featured at the top of our rankings!
Brawl match by Ivanslait - the game runs on a razor's edge, and more than one shiver must have gone through @ivanslait's back, as his Relenor Cleaver, with the last remaining life points, manages to take down all the opponent's creatures, one after the other, always surviving by a breath! Credit also to the wise placement of a card with the martyr ability in the rear, which allows the EDSF Guild player to counter the sneak ability of one of the enemy cards.
After a glorious day we return to struggle amidst a thousand difficulties, but always with one eye focused on the top!

Un Passo Indietro, ma Pronti a Rialzarsi
Nonostante abbia dovuto barcamenarmi tra mille perizie, noleggiando sul momento le carte di cui avevo bisogno per affrontare ogni singola partita della brawl (a causa di un bug su NFTy Arcade, infatti, in questa season non ho ricevuto in delegazione nessuna carta...), alla fine sono riuscito a portare a casa una buona prestazione che, unita a quella dei miei compagni di Gilda, ci ha portati ad ottenere una sesta posizione senza infamia e senza lode.
Si tratta sicuramente di un risultato inferiore a quello della precedente settimana (terzo posto a pari merito con i secondi classificati), ma comunque assolutamente dignitoso.
Naturalmente l'obiettivo è migliorare, e non tornare indietro, ma l'esperienza ci insegna che su Splinterlands è molto facile ottenere risultati altalenanti e passare, come si dice, "dalle stelle alle stalle": per questo, se stavolta il passo indietro si limitasse ad un sesto posto e da qui tornassimo a salire, devo dire che non potremmo certo lamentarci.
Con il sesto posto le ricompense calano, ma giocare nel Tier 2 comunque il suo impatto: 1100 punti di merits e 14,624 SPS in stake sono il premio ad attendere ogni giocatore!

Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - grazie ad uno dei nuovi Evocatori Soulbound posso schierare in campo contemporaneamente due creature Gladius: Quora Towershead e Katrelba Gobson. Le cose in realtà non vanno esattamente come mi aspettavo, con Katrelba Gobson che viene eliminata già da primo turno di gioco, ma la qualità complessiva del mio schieramento e le sue abilità rigenerative sono abbastanza per mettere in difficoltà il mio avversario, che alla fine si trova costretto a riconoscere la sconfitta.
Partita brawl di Road2horizon - lo schieramento di @road2horizon è perfetto ed implacabile: i suoi attacchi magici bucano completamente le difese nemiche, rendendo inutili tutte le abilità conferite dall'Evocatore avversario e annientando le forze nemiche in men che non si dica. Un'altra grande prestazione da parte di un giocatore molto spesso presente in vetta alla nostra classifica!
Partita brawl di Ivanslait - la partita corre sul filo del rasoio e più di un brivido avrà attraversato la schiena di @ivanslait, mentre il suo Relenor Cleaver, con gli ultimi punti vita rimasti, riesce ad abbattere tutte le creature avversarie, una dopo l'altra, sopravvivendo sempre per un soffio! Merito anche del saggio posizionamento di una carta con l'abilità martyr nelle retrovie, che consente al giocatore della Gilda EDSF di contrastare l'abilità sneak di una delle carte nemiche.
Dopo una giornata di gloria si torna a lottare in mezzo a mille fatiche, ma sempre con un occhio puntato sulla vetta!
