Baked stuffed peppers [en/ita]

During the lunches of the festive days we crammed ourselves with tasty and beautiful foods to see, even if not too complicated to prepare. In Italy, the holiday period ends with the Epiphany, which occurs on January 6th, afterwards we will eat the usual everyday foods again on the table.
The stuffed peppers they prepare at my house are a very tasty and completely vegetarian dish.
The colorful vegetables are stuffed with rice, boiled potatoes, breadcrumbs and peas. They are baked in the oven and garnished with a few black olives and a bay leaf. I didn't cook the peppers, I just ate them. Enjoy your meal!

Durante i pranzi delle giornate di festa ci siamo rimpinzati di cibi gustosi e belli da vedere, anche se non troppo complicati da preparare. In Italia il periodo delle feste termina con l'Epifania, che ricorre il 6 Gennaio, dopo anche a tavola mangeremo di nuovo i soliti cibi di tutti i giorni.
I peperoni ripieni che preparano a casa mia sono una pietanza molto saporita e completamente vegetariana.
I variopinti ortaggi si imbottiscono con riso, patate bollite, pan grattato e piselli. Si cuociono al forno e si guarniscono con qualche oliva nera e una foglia di alloro. Non ho cucinato io i peperoni, ma li ho solo mangiati. Buon appetito!
