I tipici materiali destinati all'edilizia vengono realizzati in argilla o terracotta e possiedono importanti caratteristiche termiche. Pertanto mattoni, tegole, coppi e sotto-coppi vengono “cotti” in capienti fornaci provviste di alte ciminiere per disperdere il fumo.

Typical building materials are made of clay or earthenware and have important thermal characteristics. Therefore bricks, tiles, bent tiles and sub-tiles are "cooked" in capacious furnaces equipped with high chimneys to disperse the smoke.
