Hola hivers! Saludos espero se encuentren igual de radiantes como estas plantas.
Encontré esta nueva y genial comunidad (un mini jardín en hive) dedicada a todos aquellos que nos gustan las plantas y flores, quiero hablarles el día de hoy de una hermosa planta ornamental como es la cayena ademas de sus lindos, variados colores y formas, esta flor tiene múltiples beneficios así que es ideal para tenerla en casa.
Hace poco estuve de visita en casa de una tía la cual es amante de las plantas como yo y conseguí estas hermosas flores que quise capturar con mi cámara, conocida en mi país Venezuela como flor de cayena también adopta otros nombres como rosa china, hibisco entre otros, es un arbusto pequeño que mide entre 2 a 5mts de altura, originario de Asia, sus hojas son de color verde brillante, y en otoño de color amarillo-dorado, en mi país durante todo el año sus hojas se mantienen verdes y cambian a color amarillo cuando se están marchitando o están enfermas.
Tiene múltiples beneficios tanto para la salud como para el cuidado personal, sirve como relajante muscular, para tratar el insomnio y para el cuidado capilar utilizado como shampoo y también para teñir el cabello.
Te explicare la receta para utilizarla en caso de insomnio:
- Recolecta de 3 a 4 flores de cayena, en una olla pequeña coloca una taza de agua y ponla a hervir, al momento de hervir agrega las flores y cocina por espacio de 2 a 3 min a fuego lento, pasado este tiempo deja reposar por 15 minutos, cuela el liquido y sirve una taza unos minutos antes de ir a dormir.
Entre las variedades de flores que tiene en su jardín encontré este ejemplar llamada flor de cayena anaranjada triple, es grande y compuesta por muchos mas pétalos que la flor sencilla, para mi es preciosa!
En comparación con esta y la 1era foto notamos la diferencia entre la flor triple, estas poseen 5 pétalos, su apertura es redonda y sobresale el pistilo, existen muchas mas variedades pero por ahora menciono las que estamos plantando y que hemos encontrado en distintos viajes.
Les muestro mis pequeños retoños, estoy cultivando cayenas amarilla, roja, blanca con centro rojo y la triple, cuando desarrollen mas hojas sera el momento para trasplantar.

In comparition with this and the 1st photo we notice the difference between the triple flower, these have 5 petals, its opening is round and the pistil protrudes, there are many more varieties but for now I mention the ones we are planting and that we have found in different trips.
I am growing yellow, red, white with red center and triple cayenne, when they develop more leaves it will be time to transplant.
