Hive is out to support all. Hive is a supporter and a builder. We are a community and as we said in our community introductory post, we will be carrying out some promotional and donating educational materials to students to help them learn well. in this regard, I want to thank @guilityparties for allowing the community to discuss the plans and visions of the community with @valueplan. This is making the dream of the community come true. We are grateful to Hive for this support system.
For a start, as we are mainly in Ghana for now, our activities will be under @mcsamm and @collinz the leaders of the hive Ghana community. It has been seen they were already into these activities. But as a student community which is mainly for that, we wish to work with them to make this program a success in Ghana and see how well Hive Students Hub will grow in other countries with time.
We are planning our first activity. Three teams are dealing with the distribution. We have the Kumasi Team, the Tamale Team, and the Navrongo team. These teams have made preparations with the schools they are meeting and how they are to make the donation simple and great. This won’t only give them the urge to learn more but will also make the students learn and know about hive. Which is what the community stands for, promoting education through hive.
The Tamale team headed by @depressedfuckup had talks with GAF International Academy. It’s a basic school located in Sakasaka, Tamale. Thus, the northern part of Ghana. It was a fruitful discussion as they said they accepted the coming with honor. The owner of the school was shocked at what hive does and said will have a great look at it. they will be visiting them on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
They started their preparations earlier. They have been in talks with the school’s heads making plans for when they will be coming. The school they will be visiting is Bible Church Academy. Verbal agreements have been done and they will be visiting on Thursday, April 20, 2023. This team is headed by @yahuzah.
Kumasi Team has it differently. A great way to show the people hive care for all. They will be visiting three schools. They are SDA Primary, Methodist Preparatory School, and Adventist Preparatory School. They will be doing this on Monday, April 17, 2023. Their team leader is @awuahbenjamin.
Each team will receive 400 books. This is to tell that, based on the number of students in the school will determine how many books a student will get. This is the start of the activity and with subsequent donations, we will have a much pleasing number of books to give out. There will be pens too. But these pens for now will be given to the teachers. Students won’t be receiving pens for now. Hive stickers will be present to be presented to these schools to show the world what hive have done for them.
