Standing Axies are the best thing ever

Only two posts ago, I was telling you guys how much quicker Axie Infinity battles are since I first played in July, thanks to quickened animations. Well, they did it again! Animations are even faster now. Sure, there are other cosmetic chances, but I'm talking about cost-benefit mechanics. This is brilliant. You can get as much money as you used to get, except using less of your own time!

After running the numbers, I figured out Axie pays out around 1 dollar for 80/90 minutes daily, for a scholar who's getting 6 SLP on arena wins, maintaining a 50% win rate. Including time spent on adventure. However, this update decreases this time to as low as 60~70 minutes. This is amazing, specially for lower minimum income countries, even for those not on the extreme poverty spectrum.

I.e., my own country, Brazil, has a minimum hourly wage of 1.15 USD for an hour of work. Being an Axie Infinity for 40%~50% share of earned SLP actually evens out. A low-pay employee earns as much as they do by playing on a scholarship. Owning your own team earns you twice as much, of course, so even if still takes around 4 months to get your money back, you use a lot less time getting there.
