Greetings fellow Lunacians! We all know that we are a part of a Digital Nation, but do you know that our nation may have (or may have had) a Royal Family๐?
If you go to the Axie Marketplace today and type in the word 'royal' under items, you will find one result:
Initially I thought that the word royal here referred to the color 'royal blue', until I realized that the color didn't match. This continually bugged me until I stumbled upon this website: Axie.info and saw this:

A little more digging will lead you to discover a couple other items that are linked to the royal family:
As well as this:
A statue built to honor a brave Princess of Lunacia.
But is this Princess an Axie, or a human being?
For most of us, the only creatures we have ever seen in Lunacia are Axies. Axies were also the only creatures seen during the land demo, and they are able to move across Lunacia at will. However, at least one human NPC has also previously appeared in Lunacia (fun fact: her name is Shiori, which means 'guide' in Japanese)
In the 2019 community update published on Axie Infinity's first birthday, a fan art of her was also featured where she was named as an Axie Trainer (possibly the first one).
The original inventors of Axie Infinity, the incredible Trung and Masamune were inspired by Pokemon (where trainers would explore the region alongside their chosen pet companions) and thus I think its possible that the royal family may be human. If we look again at the descriptions of the items (the Lavender Hydrangea and Voluptuous Grapes) they have to do with consumables, which Axies have not been shown to need before. Specifically for the 'dyeing of robes' of the royal family, as Axies are shown to be naked not needing clothing, I can't exactly imagine how it would look like in robes (Axies could drink for sure, I'd believe that๐). Its also not know if they are still present, or if this speaks of a royal family in the past that is still remembered. After all, you can't deny that there are a great number of ruins or artifacts around Lunacia.
For now, it seems that we have to be patient to wait and see who (or what) the royal family are (and if they are still around). Or maybe, the new royal family is also yet to have been found?
Probably not what we think it is, right?
