Firmeza ante el Desafío: Fragmento de la canción Odio y Rencor [Es-En]

A big greeting to all the members of this community. Today as the first post I would like to share with you the only video in "good" quality of the band Firmeza ante el Desafio.

Un gran saludo a todos los miembros de esta comunidad. Hoy como primer post quisiera compartir con ustedes el único vídeo en "buena" calidad de la banda Firmeza ante el Desafío.

The line up was: Yo Nelson Sequera on vocals, Jose Hidalgo "Chamaco" on drums, Jose Gonzalez "Lolo" first guitar, Gustavo Zambrano second guitar and Cesar on bass.

La alineación era: Yo Nelson Sequera en la voz, Jose Hidalgo "Chamaco" en la batería, Jose Gonzalez "Lolo" primera guitarra, Gustavo Zambrano segunda guitarra y Cesar en el bajo.

We managed to record a demo with 6 songs. On stage we had a set of 9 songs and 2 covers of great bands like Versvs from Spain and Otra Salida from Argentina.

Logramos grabar un demo con 6 canciones. En tarima teníamos un set de 9 canciones y 2 covers de grandes bandas como Versvs de España y Otra Salida de Argentina.

We managed to share with great bands of the Hardcore scene, such as N.O.D.S (Nuestro Odio Derrama tu Sangre), Zikoticos Armados, U.S.C (Una Sola Conducta) and Lakrosos Malamañosos. Since 2010 we became inactive for reasons beyond our control, but I really enjoyed that experience.

Logramos compartir con grandes bandas de la movida Hardcore, como lo son N.O.D.S (Nuestro Odio Derrama tu Sangre), Zikoticos Armados, U.S.C (Una Sola Conducta) y Lakrosos Malamañosos.
Desde el 2010 quedamos inactivos por motivos ajenos a nuestra voluntad, pero de verdad que disfruté mucho esa experiencia.

I don't remember exactly which friendly band invited us, but equally grateful for the invitation to that event, where we shared the stage with several Trash Metal bands from Caracas and other states of Venezuela. This was in Tiuna el fuerte (Place for cultural meetings) a few years ago.

No recuerdo exactamente qué banda amiga nos invitó, pero igualmente agradecido por la invitación a ese evento, dónde compartimos tarima con varias bandas de Trash Metal de Caracas y otros estados de Venezuela. Esto fue en Tiuna el fuerte (Lugar para encuentros culturales) hace unos cuantos años atrás.

Although the video was recorded by a friend who was in the audience, the audio is very good for the poor quality of cell phones that were available at that time.

A pesar de que el vídeo lo grabó una amiga que estaba en el público, el audio se escucha muy bien para la poca calidad de celulares que había en ese tiempo.

Our focus has always been Hardcore, with touches of rapcore metal, trying to merge the old school with the new school, but giving it the Venezuelan Creole touch, but mainly having fun doing what we like.

Nuestro enfoque siempre fue el Hardcore, con pinceladas de rapcore metal, intentando fusionar lo vieja con lo nueva escuela, pero dándole el toque criollo venezolano, pero principalmente divertirnos haciendo lo que nos gusta.

Our songs were about social issues, injustice, family, togetherness, brotherhood, about getting up every day and fighting until you win.

Nuestras canciones trataban sobre temas sociales, la injusticia, la familia, la unión, la hermandad, sobre levantarte cada día y luchar hasta ganar.

Hardcore is not just a music genre, for me it's a lifestyle and my way of living.

El Hardcore no es solo un género musical, para mí es un estilo de vida y mi forma de vivir.

This was one of the best events I enjoyed, because of the sound quality of the event, and above all because of the support of friends and public present.

Este fue uno de los mejores eventos que me disfruté, por la calidad de sonido con la que contaba dicho evento, y sobre todo por el apoyo de amigos y publico presente.
