Perception - Monomad Photography Challenge

The things that a photo reveals when it is shown to the viewers in color and in black and white are different.

I see this today as I look at my photo albums.

The way the brain perceives the objects in these images is also different.

Therefore, it can be said that color and black and white are two different languages in which the artist-photographer communicates with his audience.

The two different languages emphasize and express different things. Again, I claim that the black and white language reads between the lines and shows the essence.

Colored language diverts consciousness to the sparkling and striking colors of unnecessary things.

But even if it shows the important things, it does not show them in the way that reveals their soul.

I hope you will forgive my abstracted thoughts on photography today and your mind will focus on the photos and the images in them ... the more important things in this post.

Hi, this is my today's entry to the #monomad challenge with pictures taken in the Bulgarian town of Dimitrovgrad.

Have a wonderful, meaningful and different day!

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
