La giganteria en cuba siempre va a ritmo de congas muy contagiosas , está con fuertes raíces africanas , empezaron con instrumentos como la conga pilón, bocúes, un cencerro y un güiro. Con el paso del tiempo se acompañaron con dos congas redoblantes y sustituyeron el cencerro y el güiro por las campanas.
