My Canal Day - Monomad Challenge

Hail to the Hive!

At the moment we are not really cruising very far as we are staying within 10 miles of L.A ( the Leicester Area πŸ˜‰ ). But I do have a list of chores that is getting increasingly longer, one of which is stripping the laint off the roof of Badger the Narrowboat. This is proving to be a pain in the proverbial ass.

After much scraping I decided to use some machinery and a wire brush to see if it would speed things up. It works but it isn’t any faster than what I was doing before. I had one eye on the clock as the day was drawing to an end as I was expecting some company and I had worked up quite a thirst.

So after a quick sweep up I replaced all the items back on Badgers roof for the evening and admired the sunset

Perfect timing my friends arrived loaded with many beers that were eagerly quaffed.

A lovely setting to enjoy a few beers with friends after a day of tedious paint stripping.

All in all a very satisfying day. Some progress on the paint stripping front. Beers with old mates and a lovely sunset.

I am a happy @scubahead

Love a bit of #monomad 😜
