Dirty Thirsty Traveling Badger - Monomad Challenge

Hail to the Hive!

Back on the move !

Onr of the good things about mooring up next to canal and River Trust Facilities for a week is always being within touching distance of waste disposal and fresh drinking water. So long long showers and no stress toilet time haha!

So even though we had filled up the water tank the day before we took 20 mins to top her up again and empty the cassette toilet before heading off.

For a small boat she has a good capacity for fresh water, 150 liters. We find it's good for 4 or 5 days non conservative use and over a week if @scubahead is a bit smelly.

But nice to be on the move again. Just 7 locks and 4 miles to do today and we toped in a friend to help. I've noticed my friends like to help with the locks and it's a fun shared day with the added bonus of much lighter work for @millycf1976. Half the lock cranking and half the gate opening and closing.

We will moor up in a familiar spot for 2 days and then have another friend help us through the next 4 miles and 5 locks to the City Centre.

I have enjoyed being in the vicinity of my home town for the past 5 weeks as it's allowed me to catch up with a lot of old friends and family. I kind of feel torn now between wanting to do more cruising around the country and staying to be around my bredren.
