Hail to the Hive!

Well my bridge fetish continues it would seem but I can’t help myself as everywhere I turn these days on the canal network or even just off of it , there seems to be a bridge/ wanna be model.

This littls footbridge was on the other side of the bird sanctuaries and enabled people on foot to cross the River Tame and access yet more of the bird sanctuary. I photographed some of the bird sanctuary, which is made up of old gravel pits now filled with water, in some previous posts.

I have been quite taken with the area as it has some lovely walking trails that are really nice to wander through so even if you are not a big bird fancier it doesn’t matter as it’s still a damned good stroll through the countryside.

We are moving the boat again tomorrow so I’ll no doubt be having a ‘ look see’ at whats near the boat in that particular area as it does seem as if Tamworth has a lot of lovely spots to wander around. i like it!
