Hail to the Hive!

It's an extremely noisy Monday morning sipping coffee as the jack hammer gets closer and closer to where I am usually camped out. I will be dislodged in two days and rendered effectively homeless. I have carefully directed them so I can keep my corner perch for as long as possible but i will have to move after tomorrow.

The way i go about my daily routine will be completely shattered. As much as I know it's happening and inevitable I am holding on til the last moment as I've been in this spot for 7 years. But move I will and move I must.

An even bigger move will take place 2 months later as I depart the Philippines but in some weird way this feels more significant right now.The total destruction of all that surrounds meas I sit at my laptop, calmly sipping my coffee and tapping away at my keyboard. Totally weird.
