Hail to the Hive!

Oooooh so we finally made it to our little retreat on the coast here in Jamaica for our anniversary getaway and the cliff front views are awesome. I was kind of hoping they would be. It has all the ingredients I wanted. Sea, views, sunsets , beer. It really is picture perfect in so many respects. So what more does a guy need eh?

But what most of the peeps here taking their snaps overlook is….

Monochrome !

I mean ‘derrrr’ you have all the contrasts. Clouds and light, water and rocks, trees and stuff. Beer! Throw in some other shit…

Like crazy locals throwing themselves off the cliffs for tips n shit! I have to say I don’t really mind their hustle. I don’t really get drawn in but I love watching them work the tourists. And they do entertain.

Seeing the party boats or ‘ booze cruises’ head back also helps the photos if I’m honest.

It feels nice to be back by the sea. The sounds, the smell, it’s wonderful. And we have a whole week of maybe more to enjoy.

I’m feeling happy and it’s not just the red stripe. Oh ok maybe that’s helping 🙂
