I continue to travel in Italy. I have visited Venice and the island of Murano before. Today I will tell you a little about the island of Burano.
I got to the island by boat in less than an hour. The island of Burano is famous for its Burano lace and production of clothing and jewelry. From ancient times women sewed, knitted and spun. And men were engaged in fishing. And there are still small workshops where women make fine lace all day and create exclusive dresses. They keep this tradition. These things are quite expensive and can cost 100 euros or more for a small product, otherwise you can not imagine the price of the dress.
Making lace is a long and painstaking job.
I used to watch my mother and daughter do it. They would love these products!

Я продовжую подорожувати Італією. Я вже відвідувала раніше Венецію і острів Мурано. Сьогодні трохи вам розповім про острів Бурано.
На острів я потрапила привучи катером менше години. Острів Бурано славиться своїм буранівським мереживом і виробництвом одягу, прикрас. Жінки з давніх часів шили, в'язали, пряли. А чоловіки займалися рибальством. Так і залишилися до сьогодні маленькі майстерні, де жінки весь день виробляють тонкі мережива і створюють ексклюзивні сукні. Вони зберігають цю традицію. Ці речі досить дорогі і можуть коштувати 100 і більше євро за невеликий виріб не то можете собі уявити ціну на сукні.
Виготовлення мережива довга і кропітка робота.
Я раніше спостерігала як це виконували моя мама і дочка. Їм би сподобалися ці вироби!
I decided to make the tower flat in this photo. And then I read that she is actually a slope, 52 meters high.

You know what, people? I was fascinated by the homely atmosphere of this island. I watched the life around me. Despite the tourists, the locals did their job well. Life on the island was at a leisurely pace.
The houses are actually painted in different colors and this is controlled by the authorities of the island. Narrow streets, water canals, moored fishing boats.
Знаєте що, люди? Мене цей острів захопив домашньою атмосферою. Я спостерігала за навколишнім життям. Незважаючи на туристів, місцеві жителі вдало виконували свою роботу. Життя острова йшло своїм спокійним темпом.
Будинки насправді розмальовані в різні кольори і це контролюється владою острова. Вузькі вулички, водяні канали, пришвартовані човни рибалок.
