Daria - Monomad

Daria, wow what a model... I first worked with her back in 2017ish with @brianbrogan1960 when he had his studio in Lincoln..

Too long has passed since she last graced my lens and although I've been on shoots organised by her, I've not had the chance to shoot her since.

That changed just before Christmas as she hosted another shoot, this time at Room 3 at Grimsby. A studio I've shot at many times already...

Yeah, Daria's very easy on the eye, shes also very easy on the edit.. Her skin is near on damn perfect.... And thats not changed since the first shoot we had 4+ years ago.

She's also a really really nice person.. I spend more time chatting than shooting, as usual...

A simple lighting setup on these standing portraits, just 1 big octa... slightly feathered to the model.

Then with the help of my mate Emrys, we setup a little rough reflector as a backdrop and fired a couple of gelled ad200s at it. (you may have seen some previous posts with the better version of it)

so, 3 lights on this shot.... the big octa above and a curveflector underneath the model (check her eyes, theyre usually the give away for lighting in front). the reflector underneath gives the underneath of teh chin some light and generally makes the 'window of light' using just one lightsource. the other 2 lights were at the rear reflector to create the bokeh.

And just one last shot... Here's where Daria gets her looks from!!! Theres good genes in this family..
