Greetings to all the members of this community who love black and white photography.
Sometimes we think that many photos, because of their colors, would not work in the same way when converted to black and white. For example, the beach always has very good colors, very vivid and that stand out to the eye. But by turning the colors off, many elements that we did not see before, or were difficult to identify, may stand out.
In this case, the photos were taken to a model, with black hair, with a white dress and roses of the same color, the day was very sunny without clouds, making the blue sky almost merge with the sea, the difference was the textures that could have.
As you can see, there was already a contrast between the model's wardrobe and her hair, and looking to highlight the textures to identify the lines of the horizon, where the sea and the sky meet, all that makes these black and white photos work, and at the same time, give you a dramatic and nostalgic look.

Saludos a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad amante de la fotografía en blanco y negro.
A veces creemos que muchas fotos, por sus colores, no funcionarían de igual manera al pasarlas al blanco y negro. Por ejemplo, la playa siempre tiene muy buenos colores, bien vivos y que resaltan a la vista. Pero al apagar los colores, puede que resalten muchos elementos que antes no veíamos, o nos era difícil de identificar.
En este caso, las fotos se las hice a una modelo, con cabello negro, con un vestido blanco y rosas del mismo color, el día estaba bien soleado sin nubes, haciendo que el cielo azul casi se fundiera con el mar, la diferencia eran las texturas que podían tener.
Cómo ven, ya había un contraste entre el vestuario de la modelo y su pelo, y buscando resaltar las texturas para identificar las líneas del horizonte, donde se unen el mar y el cielo, todo eso hace que estás fotos en blanco y negro funcionen, y a la vez, te dan un look dramático y nostálgico.
