"The Crosswalk" my 7th #monomad challenge entry

Hi, everybody. Today I'd like to show a monochrome pictures of an unusual sculpture/instalation placed in Wrocław (Poland) at the crosswalk in the center of the city.

This version is named "The Monument of an Anonymous Pedestrian" and was founded in 2005, but first version was created in 1977 by Polish sculptor, Jerzy Kalina. The seven characters are depicting "common people" from the 70s. Seeing it for the first time is quite an experience. One part of the group is descending down breaking the sidewalk, another group is hauling out on the other side of the street. They're like a metaphore of humans' persiting appearing and disappearing, going on and on. Very ambivalent, thought provoking.

The sculpture is made of bronze, with many realistic details, like the bicycle tyre, the loaf of bread, the bottle of milk or the old fashioned baby's buggy.

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. [Edit: I've added later one shot]
