Locus Solus band (my #monomad challenge entry)

Hi #monomad Hivians. This is my 4th entry in #monomad challenge. Today I present the flashback of the very unusual musical performance I was happy to witness in 2016. The event was called Eklektik Session, in Wrocław, Poland. That year all the shows were placed in different parts of the vintage power machinery factory. It was really industrial interiors with tones of heavy gear, giant turbines and plenty of thick cables all over the place. Normally access is denied for the public.
Now, the band is really original and unique (and I think - also ephemeric). It was formed by the musicians from different places, playing traditional instruments, but also the experimental ones (from the past), like this thing with huge reflectors -- it was played by rubbing the glass rods! (yeah 😄). The music was partly traditional tunes, partly abstract improvisation. The mastery of the instrumentalists and their sense of togetherness in sharing the vibe, were outstanding. The ethereal, focused, mostly accoustic, meditative music sounded strange amidst the heavy machines. And it was realy awesome. There were no decorations, the scene looked like "we are at work here".

The musicians were: Loup Barrow – cristal bachet / Thomas Bloch – Martenot's Waves / Nadishana – flutes, jaw harp, hang and more / Guo Gan – erhu.
Music is very important to me, and I love to shoot at the gigs, although usually it is difficult for several reasons.

Stay healthy, stay curious, stay monomad :)
