Si, así como acaban de leer, por allá en los años 90 existía una novela que resultó tan popular a nivel mundial que hasta los países en guerra cedían, hacían una breve pausa para que fuesen disfrutada por toda su población, el nombre de esta novela es: Kassandra. Nunca he Sido de ver novelas, realmente mi papá me lo tenía prohibido y creo que cuando salió esta novela yo estaba o muy pequeño o no había nacido.

I have never been a fan of novels, my father really forbade me to watch them and I think that when this novel came out I was either very young or I had not been born yet.

Kassandra es una novela de mi país, Venezuela y fue transmitida en todos los continentes, en más de 180 países y traducida en 20 idiomas, este hecho fue lo que hizo que rompieran récords Guinness en transmisión por popularidad. Para aquel entonces habían conflictos bélicos en muchas partes del mundo, pero lo que más llama la atención es que cuando Kassandra era transmitido la guerra entre Bosnia y lo que antes era conocido como Yugoslavia se detenía, es decir, había un "alto al fuego". Ahora bien, imaginen la gran influencia de esta novela a niveles internacionales como para que una guerra por un breve período de tiempo en el día se detenga sólo para que ambas poblaciones, tanto la de Bosnia como la de Yugoslavia pudiesen verla.

Realmente no soy fanático a este tipo de contenido pero esto me resulto tan curioso que me hizo pensar en los aparatos ideológicos. Como antes he mencionado, Antonio Gransci explicaba que existían tres tipos de aparatos: La religión, en este caso el catolicismo es la que más creyentes tiene y a través de las santas escrituras (la biblia) buscan adoctrinar a las personas según lo que sus redactores consideraban conveniente para la población que siguiese esta religión con vistas al futuro, en este caso los mandamientos por ejemplo podemos interpretarlos como límites, tanto en la reproducción donde en los mandamientos se habla de la fidelidad hacia la pareja evitando así el riesgo de contagio por enfermedades de transmisión sexual y la sobrepoblación hasta la mortalidad por crímenes que atentasen contra la humanidad. El segundo aparato ideológico es la educación, donde a través de la formación académica se sigue moldeando a la sociedad según lo que los gobernantes requieren de la población y aquí el más claro ejemplo es la escuela como fábrica, donde el individuo que ingresa cuando termina su proceso es fruto de lo que se requiere según sus "talentos" y el tercer aparato y aquí en donde entra esta novela son los medios de comunicación...y es que a través de ellos consumimos contenido que después reproduciremos a través de la conducta. Kassandra como toda novela lleva al televidente a situaciones cotidianas donde según las respuestas ante dichas situaciones puede ser la "esperada" en situaciones de la vida real. Así de influyente son estos tres puntos en nuestra vida, pero ahora....quiero saber qué opinas al respecto ¿Sabías el alcance que tuvo esta novela en el mundo? ¿Tienes conciencia de estas tres últimas cosas que acabo de explicar? creo que realmente vale la pena cuestionar si realmente tenemos criterio propio o si es fruto de algo mucho más maquiavélico.

I'm not really a fan of this type of content but this was so curious that it made me think about ideological apparatuses. As I mentioned before, Antonio Gransci explained that there are three types of apparatuses: Religion, in this case Catholicism is the one with the most believers and through the holy scriptures (the bible) they seek to indoctrinate people according to what its editors considered convenient for the population to follow this religion with a view to the future, in this case the commandments for example we can interpret them as limits, both in reproduction where the commandments speak of fidelity to the couple thus avoiding the risk of contagion by sexually transmitted diseases and overpopulation to mortality by crimes that attempt against humanity. The second ideological apparatus is education, where through academic training society continues to be molded according to what the rulers require of the population and here the clearest example is the school as a factory, where the individual who enters when he finishes his process is the fruit of what is required according to his "talents" and the third apparatus and here where this novel enters are the media ... and it is through them that we consume content that we will later reproduce through behavior. Kassandra, like all novels, takes the viewer to everyday situations where, depending on the responses to these situations, it can be the "expected" in real life situations. These three points are so influential in our lives, but now.... want to know what you think about it Did you know the reach that this novel had in the world?
