Continuing with my exclusive usage of the prime lens of 11mm, I share here a series of photos in black and white format, that I recently captured at the coast of Antofagasta (Chile) during the lasts hours of the afternoon. I have been using only this lens for some months, I like it, but 11mm is not an easy focal length.
In the first and third image the foreground consists of seaweeds and sea shells on the shore. In the images were the sun hits directly to the lens there is an interesting visual effect produced by the light and drops of sea water on the filter. I had been shooting for more than one hour at the sea, it was very windy so the camera and the lens filter were covered by sea water droplets.
Continuando con mi ejercicio del uso exclusivo de mi lente gran angular de 11mm (distancia focal fija), presento aquí una serie de fotografías, sólo en formato blanco y negro, que capté recientemente en la costa de Antofagasta al final de la tarde. Ya tengo varios meses usando este lente, me gusta mucho pero no es fácil trabajar sólo con esta distancia focal.
En la primera y tercera imagen pueden observar que el primer plano consiste de algas y caracoles marinos. En las otras imágenes donde el sol está en frente de la camera, se produjo un interesante efecto visual, a raíz de la difracción de la luz solar con las gotas de agua del mar, estuve captando fotos en la costa por más de una hora y el clima estaba bastante ventoso, por lo que la cámara y el filtro del lento terminaron cubiertos por el salitre marino.

The camera used was a Sony Alpha 7 with lens Sony E 11mm F1.8, format APS-C. You can read more about this lens in this post. The edition was done in Gimp.
