Hello, this is my entry for #monomad challenge by monochrome.
The church of Olga and Elizabeth remains the decoration of the city of Lviv, in particular of the Railway District. My favorite.
Every day I pass by here and every day this building fascinates with its beauty. I stop to look at her, even though I've seen her thousands of times. I go into the middle of the church, although I have already been here and felt the coolness and grace here.
The romantic origin of the church, because it was built in memory of Sisi, Empress of Hungary, and built in the neo-Gothic style.
If you look closely at a clear day like today, the dial is noticeable, perhaps in the past the clock worked. And some sculptures without body parts.
The spiers reach 88 meters in height. Therefore, they can be seen far away, as it was before. And now they have built high-rise buildings that replace this church.
And this location is not accidental. Earlier, the church was supposed to close the Orthodox Church of St. George. And people who came to the train station went to the church to pray.
But stained glass and rounded windows are preserved. The windows are extraordinary, and with the image of the "Gothic rose", which symbolizes eternal love without obstacles and borders, even after death.
Окрасою міста Львів, зокрема Залізничного району залишається церква Ольги і Єлизавети. Моя найулюбленіша.
Щодня проходжу поряд і щодня зачаровує своєю красою ця споруда. Я зупиняюся оглянути, хоч вже дивилася тисячі разів. Заходжу в середину, хоч вже бувала і відчувала тут прохолоду і благодать.
Шпилі досягають 88 метрів висоти. Тому їх видно далеко, так було раніше. А тепер набудували багатоповерхівки, які заступають цю церкву.
І це місце розташування не випадкове. Раніше костел повенен був закривати собою православну церкву Юра. І люди, які приїжджали до залізничного вокзалу йшли до костелу для молитви.
Романтичне походження церкви, адже споруджена в пам'ять про Сісі- імператрицю Угорщини, і побудована в неоготичному стилі.
Якщо уважно роздивитися в ясний як сьогодні день, то помітний циферблат, можливо в минулому працював годинник. А деякі скульптури без частин тіла.
Але вітражі і округлі вікна збережені. Вікна надзвичайні, і з зображенням "Готичної троянди", що символізує вічне кохання без перешкод і кордонів.
