Photography is an art that is governed by many rules, but also experimentation is part of it, without experimentation we could never discover new techniques that serve us to improve our way of communicating the message, sometimes there are topics that we read about and yet while we don't experiment, we don't know what we can get, the last few days you have seen my obsession with macro photography, and actually it all started with these photographs.
La fotografía es un arte que se rige por muchas reglas, pero también la experimentación es parte de ella, sin la experimentación no se podrían descubrir nuevas técnicas que nos sirven para mejorar nuestra forma de comunicar el mensaje, algunas veces hay temas sobre los que leemos y sin embargo mientras no lo experimentemos, no sabemos lo que podemos conseguir, los últimos días han visto mi obsesión por la macrofotografía, y en realidad todo comenzó con estas fotografías.
That afternoon I was in the park, I was carrying the 50mm lens but without the extension tubes, I was carrying the flash just in case I needed it, the truth is that I had always focused on natural light photography, but that day something strange was happening.
Esa tarde me encontraba en el parque, llevaba el lente 50mm pero sin los tubos de extensión, llevaba el flash solo por si acaso o necesitaba, la verdad es que siempre me había enfocado en la fotografía con luz natural, pero ese día algo extraño estaba sucediendo.
Well actually this photo was with the 55-250mm lens, but I don't remember if it was on another day because lately I only go out with one lens to avoid changing lenses outside, the city is under a layer of dust and wind, so every time I change lenses outside my sensor ends up dirty no matter how careful I am.
Bueno en realidad esta foto fue con el lente 55-250mm, pero no recuerdo si fue en otro día porque últimamente solo salgo con un lente para evitar cambiar lentes en el exterior, la ciudad se encuentra bajo una capa de polvo y viento, así que cada que cambio los lentes en el exterior mi sensor termina sucio por más cuidado que tenga.

And well, I was doing some tests that afternoon, I liked the results and the sharpness of the areas I wanted, all the photos were taken using the flash and it was what motivated me to be doing macro photography these last days.
Y bueno, estuve haciendo varias pruebas esa tarde, me gustaron los resultados y la nitidez de las zonas que yo deseaba, todas las fotos fueron tomadas usando el flash y fue lo que me motivó a estar haciendo macrofotografía estos últimos días.
I really liked the way they turned out with a low key style, I hope you all liked them too and that it will motivate you to get out more to shoot using flash light.
Me gustó mucho la forma en la que quedaron con un estilo de clave baja, espero que a todos ustedes también les hayan gustado y que los motive a salir más a hacer fotografías usando el flash.
All the pictures were made to common plants, very common, those you find anywhere, I'm not a botanist so I don't really know their names, and I feel sorry for that, I think I should study about it too haha.
Todas las fotos fueron hechas a plantas comunes, muy comunes, de esas que encuentras en cualquier lugar, no soy botánico así que en realidad no sé sus nombres, y siento pena por eso, creo que debo estudiar también sobre ello jaja.
