Reverse Lens Magic - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

If you happen to own a proper camera, most probably you could detach and reverse the lens. I promise you the quality of the photos you create will not be brilliant, not at all. However, the effect or defects, depending on your point of view, could be quite eye-catching :) If you go and experiment with that technique, I recommend you use a prime lens, that's one less parameter to worry about and also, prime lens always give better images and they allow for more light to pass through the optics of the lens, considering the same diameter and the absence of moving components ;) Logically, the glasses used in prime lens have bigger diameters, compared to their "zoomable" brothers and sisters.

Today I am combining two magical powers - that of the reverse macro and the one of the black and white abstraction! I hope you enjoy those picture I am sharing with you :)

The focus plane of the field of depth is very narrow, I would say it is less than a millimeter and this, in my humble opinion, adds even more abstraction to each photo.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by @monochromes, supported by @qurator, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
