Power of Details

...or how the focal plane, or the point we use to place the focus of photography, could totally change the message of the picture.

My travel photographs, taken from a church bell tower.

Yes, the big black cameras cost a lot and weight a lot but lots of things are still in the best control of us, using them! :) Actually, comparing the price of the latest iPhone with a middle-ranged DSLR camera, that could be said is a pro-camera, the price difference isn't big, if at all... But try to have the next two photos with a mobile camera, in a dark place. If that's achievable at all, it would take a lot of time to make the phone do what you want ;)

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
