MONOMAD: A collection of photos of residents' activities in my city

"The days gone by are memories, and tomorrow is a dream wrapped in hope", this is my opening sentence for this post.

In the first week of December, which also happened to be a weekend, I cleaned up some photos on my laptop. Because it has become a habit, every month I tidy up several files in one folder and discovered some old photographs that were neatly stored and, to my knowledge, had never been released before (they were the product of a photo hunt from October to November 2022).

Therefore, here I present some of these photos in several parts.
View of the Cunda River and Reservoir in Part One
Residents of the neighborhood raise fish in floating net cages by utilizing the river's flow and stagnant water in the reservoir.

Fishermen use small boats as a mode of transportation to travel to floating net cages that have been set up in the river and the reservoir's center.

Visitors to our city will be able to see the perspectives of locals who work as fishermen and spend their free time maintaining their boats and also relaxing during the day because on the edge of this area there are several large trees and the wind is quite open.

Part Two: Oyster-hunting activities
In this region, oysters live and develop wildly. Without a doubt, some people in Lhokseumawe, both men and women, now make money from this condition. The existence of oysters is very diverse. Some are attached to rocks by the river and iron in reservoirs, and some are attached to high mounds of earth.

Especially the oysters in the middle of the river, in the middle of the high mound. The oyster seekers usually wait when the water condition in the river is receding, which is influenced by the ebb and flow of seawater.

I'll also include some images of locals fishing in the last parts. They utilize a variety of equipment to catch fish. Some people use fishing rods and small trawls.
