Some familiar views of the village that we like all the time, especially those of us who live permanently in the middle of the city and whenever we get a chance we rush to enjoy the rural environment. These scenes are very familiar, with dirt roads in the middle of the farmland and crop fields on both sides.
Today I will share some of the familiar rural black and white scenes many days later. Practically now is the rainy season, this is the time for jute cultivation. Jute is cultivated in most of the lands of our village at this time and the jute trees grow before the onset of monsoon. The farmer cuts them and collects the jute by soaking it in water for a long time.
Since I had the opportunity to do this year's Eid festival at my village home, I took the opportunity to capture some wonderful views of the jute farmland. I capture these scenes as I walk along this road past agricultural land.
Notice that the jute trees on the land have grown quite large, next to which the farmers have cut down many jute trees and left them in the form of piles. When all the jute plants have been cut down to eat, they will be soaked in water for many days, when they are wet and soft, the jute ash will be collected. Jute cultivation was once very profitable but after the rise of plastic, its demand gradually declined.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
