The photos show the top of Bodhnath, the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world. This stupa is a religious center, especially for the Tibetan people living in Nepal. Many Tibetans fled to Nepal after the Chinese invasion in 1959. Here, monks, locals and tourists can all walk around the stupa that is located on the ancient trade route between Kathmandu and Lhasa.
