#monomad : An Urhobo Outfit For A Traditional Wedding

#monomad today shows a cultural way of dressing among the southern people of Nigeria.

This type of dressing is mostly common among women in the southern states, They tie wrappers and a large scarf (a.k.a gele) and this gele is usually tied in a pattern, like waves of a sort.

The blouse is usually adorned with embroideries and ornaments of all kinds fine stones, women in this part of the country do not joke with their appearances when attending occasions.
As for the blouse, some tie wrappers over it, some were white gown before tying the wrapper.

Did i forget to mention the hand fan,(everything to look beautiful and classy). Very silky and beautiful, depending on suits you.

In any case, this was a traditional wedding I attended and that was the bride. Urhobo is a tribe from Delta state, I had to opportunity to see this when I visited the town with my friend.
