Monomad Photography Challenge - Fly macro

This is my entry into todays #monomad photography challenge.

Here is a focus stacked image created from 44 separate shots at F8, 1/4sec, ISO200.

  • Images taken with the Olympus E-M1 III and 25mm mitakon f0.95 lens + 10mm extension tube
  • Stacked with Zerene Stacker
  • Edited with Capture One and Aurora hdr

Below was an earlier version in the editing process where one of the flies lower legs was in focus at the bottom right of the image. I thought this stuck out a little and was slightly distracting
so I edited it out in the final version.
