This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.
Every night I do many dreams and I have the luck to remember them. I don't know if it is a gift to remember dreams, because of many of them are scary nightmares: the worst nightmare is usually to loose a good picture (I loose the opportunity to shoot, or I do mistake with settings), or to break my camera (in many different ways, every night in an even more creative way: a night my analogic films have been burned by sunrays, or my expensive lens get scratched etc. etc.).
Last night I was in dream in Genoa, the city where I studied and I lived five years, so I decided to make a post about it.
(here a person who asks for charity in 'Via XX Settembre', one of the main and longest street of Genoa).
In 2017 I I won the fourth place in a competition organized by municipality of Castelvetro, a small beautiful town near Modena.
I have already published the pictures that participates to competition in this post:

I won the opportunity to be part of a collective exhibition in the same castle (Levizzano Rangone, near Castelvetro) I have shooted! The exhibition has been organized by FotoArt (a good and active photoclub).
Here the newspaper article (sorry for the italian language):
Most of pictures are about snowfalls in Genoa (in different years), a phenomena quite rare in this city, that changes the landscape and the habits of citizen not ready to walk with this weather.
There also other pictures showing branches and some old typical streets and ancient shops in Genoa or around the city.
Here I'm working to prepare my prints in the room dedicated to the exhibition:
And here I'm ready to show my works!
Exhibition went on for some weeks.
During the inauguration, the Castelvetro Mayor and the councilor for culture were present:
Here the prints:
I have already made a post (@barnabo73/snowfall-in-genoa) with some of these pictures, here I used them in triptychs collage (hoping it won't be a problem for the rules of @monochromes community, if not tell me!)
THE TRIPTYCHS ARE ON SALE!
Pictures taken with Nikon FE2 camera, Ilford HP5 black&white films.
