Capanna Margherita

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes

This is one of my ascent to Capanna Margherita, the highest refugee in Europe (4556 meters high).
These pictures has been shooted more than twenty years ago, so now landscapes are very different, due to climate change.
In first pic Punta Parrot on the left, and Capanna Margherita on the right.
Weather was good, only a bit windy on summit.

Preparations at Capanna Gnifetti, where we slept the night before:

Ascent time is five hours more or less. Glacier is easy, we had only to pay attention to some dangerous crevasses covered by snowy bridge, that could fall without any alert. Here we were reaching Colle del Lys (about 4000 meters high).

On the background northern wall of Lyskamm, with its huge seracs (now smaller).
