This is my entry for the #monomad challenge :)
It has been almost 6 months since my friend, Lola fostered a baby dog named Winnie from Paws for Compassion. She has lots of energy and also a talented dog. She runs around my neighbors every day and plays a lot of sports with us like football, tennis balls, and even circus sometimes. When we go adventure to mountainsides, we've taken her with us and she always wants to be a leader in front of us ^^ People said to us that she is a type of Phu Quoc Ridgeback that is very good at hunting, running, and learning very fast new skills. They also mentioned that this kind of dog can swim very well, however, it doesn't seem so for our Winnie. She can't swim so far even though we tried to teach her at the beach or in a little stream during this summer. The story below will confirm our thought that she has a bad experience with water.
Yesterday we went to a stream which is 45km far from our city center. At the beginning, she was so excited to be on the bike then ran so fast when we let her free on the ground, however, she got panic when Lola held her and put her legs down the stream for a while, she started barking more and more. As a result, she jumped up and sat in a shelter until we went back. I think she has fear of water since she was born, that is still a challenge for us to train her to swim.
