Monomad - Jump Spider : Phidippus putnami

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

In this post, I again want to share some photos of spiders that I found in the bushes of remote areas in North Aceh. Precisely in the village of Serba Jaman Tunong, Sumatra, Indonesia.

The spider I mean is Phidippus putnami, a species of spider belonging to the family Salticidae.

This spider has a dominant black color, a jumping spider species with its characteristic that it often jumps when it avoids objects that approach it. However, with a little patience we can use plant branches so that spiders land on them.

That way we only need a little more time to wait for the spider perched on the branch of the plant to calm down and be comfortable, then we can get the perfect shot.
