The weather on that day was ideal for an afternoon walk across the countryside. My focus is constantly on the shrubs that are along the country road's edge. The carpenter bee occasionally flies back and forth while emitting a loud hum; it just stops for a few seconds on the flowers to sip the nectar. So I won't be able to take close-up shots.
Only one caterpillar can be captured by me. On the stem of Hyptis brevipes, a weed plant that grows alongside village roadways, the butterfly larvae crept. It continued to move, but because it moved so slowly, I was able to take some angles. So for the current round of the #monomad challenge, I will be submitting these pics.
