A preview of a session Talia and I had last Saturday. She had borrowed a very long black dress from her studio and had called me to take advantage of the occasion. We went to the moat of the Morro fortress to have privacy and at the same time, shelter from the scorching sun that morning. The centuries-old steps served to support the long train of the dress for a few moments. I took several shots from below and from the side, but I really liked this particular sequence because it highlights the beautiful figure of my model, through the contrast of her smooth and light skin against the roughness of the rocks and the dark of the dress. These shots were just 5 or 10 minutes out of what was a two hour session. I think I'll have plenty of material to review this week!
Un avance de una sesión que tuvimos el sábado pasado Talia y yo. Ella había pedido prestado un vestido negro muy largo en su estudio y me había llamado para aprovechar esa ocasión. Nos fuimos para el foso de la fortaleza del Morro para tener privacidad y a la vez, refugio del sol abrasador de aquella mañana. Los escalones centenarios sirvieron para sostener por momentos la larga cola del vestido. Hice varias tomas desde abajo y desde un costado, pero esta secuencia en particular me gustó mucho porque destaca la bella figura de mi modelo, mediante el contraste de su piel lisa y clara contra la rudeza de las rocas y lo oscuro del vestido. Estas fotos fueron apenas 5 o 10 minutos de lo que fue una sesión de dos horas. Creo que tendré bastante material para revisar esta semana!
