We went to the old nightclub of the Hotel Comodoro, there we could do a relatively calm photo session while the covid outside still prevented freedom of movement. It was a collaboration with Mónica, the entrepreneur who weaves clothing for women. She took several models this time, but this girl that I show you today had good model material. Unfortunately I was never able to obtain her name, Monica also lost it, it is one of those occasions in which I do not make contact, hoping to recover some thread in the future that will lead me back to the meeting. The title of this post is due to the last image of this series. I went up an old spiral staircase from which you can see what used to be the dance floor. Down there was my model, I just had to shoot taking advantage of the glare from the remote flash and the long shadows it cast.
Fuimos a la antigua discoteca del Hotel Comodoro, ahí podíamos hacer una sesión de fotos relativamente tranquilos mientras el covid afuera aún impedía las libertades de movimiento. Fue una colaboración con Mónica, la emprendedora que teje prendas de vestir para mujeres. Ella llevó varias modelos esta vez, pero esta muchacha que les muestro hoy tenía buena madera de modelo. Desgraciadamente nunca pude obtener su nombre, Mónica también lo perdió, es de esas oportunidades en que no concreto el contacto, esperando recuperar en el futuro algún hilo que me conduzca de nuevo al encuentro. El título de este post se debe a la última imagen de esta serie. Subí por una antigua escalera de caracol desde la cual se observa lo que era antes la pista de baile. Ahí abajo estaba mi modelo, sólo tuve que disparar aprovechando el resplandor del flash remoto y las sombras largas que generó.
