Rosehip tea (Winter tea) with anti-inflammatory qualities for colds

Hello Hivers,

Rosehips have a significant amount of vitamin C, in fact, three times more than citrus fruits, which explains why the ruby-red berry is highly esteemed in traditional Chinese medicine. Furthermore, rosehip fruits have a tonic effect and include vitamins, pectins, flavonoids, and organic acids, among other things.

It's an interesting fact the rosehip is revered as a sacred plant in many civilizations throughout the world. During the Middle Ages, Catholics utilized wild rose berries to make rosaries, which is how the word "rosary" came to be.

Are you experiencing the first signs of a cold? Make a cup of rosehip tea in just a few minutes. The beverage can be consumed either hot or chilled. I normally brew the fruit in a large glass jar and store it in the refrigerator for a couple of days before eating it. Learn how to brew cinnamon rosehip tea from scratch.
